  Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa                               Last Week We had a couple of days without any children absent last week! We love it when that happens! On Friday, all students came home with our T1 progress reports. Please keep the reports then sign and return the envelope to school. We will use these for subsequent reports as well. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. I will not send a blog next week so this will cover the next 2 as far as leader/snack and guest reader are concerned. Snack and Leaders Your child will come home with the Leader bag the night before his/her leader day. Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa                               Last Week Thank you all for making the effort to spend time together listening to, encouraging and loving on your children during our conferences. The expectation is that we hold conferences with 100% of our families. I appreciate that you all made that easy for me this year. I really enjoyed our time together. Two more to go 😊. Our kindergartners did a beautiful job singing before our Thanksgiving Luncheon. Mr. Hernandez sent the video to all kindergarten families, but in case you missed it....   Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa                               Last Week So, it appears that winter has arrived, at least for the moment. If there is snow on the ground children must wear boots and snowpants in order to go onto the playground. Without appropriate outerwear they will stay on the blacktop during recess time. Please be sure to send shoes to school if boots are worn. You are welcome in the winter months to leave a pair of shoes at school if that makes it easier.  I enjoyed conferencing with many of you and your children last week. Thank you for prioritizing this time. Having the students join the conference gives them a sense of ownership and responsibility of their learning. They like showing off a bit for parents as well 😊. All of our students were screened for Hearing last week. No news, is good news, as I did not receive notice regarding any of our students. 😃 Our Fall Festival was loads of fun!
