    Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa                            Last Week Wow, happy snow days to all! I hope you enjoyed the extra-extended weekend with your kiddos and stayed safe and warm throughout. ❆❅❄   Unfortunately, we missed our Planetarium trip (on Tuesday) and our Meteorologist visit (on Friday).  The Planetarium trip has been rescheduled for Monday, March 16th. We are in process with our meteorologist for another date with him.   Each day your child needs... a water bottle appropriate outerwear shoes Snack and Leaders Those students who missed their leader day are welcome to bring a Show and Tell to share.   Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa                            Last Week We were able to finish both sections of the NWEA tests last week. Our students worked hard and did their bests.  I hope y'all enjoyed the snow day on Thursday. I loved hearing that most got outside and enjoyed the day. By afternoon, it was perfect snow play weather!   Please remember to -- Send a leak-proof, water bottle each day. Dress your child for the weather of the day-snow pants, boots, hat and mittens. Send shoes each day to change into for inside time (leaving a pair at school is fine). Empty your child's folder each day. Return Library books by Wednesday of each week.   Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa                            Last Week It was great to be together again after the long break. It was fun exchanging stories and connecting with similar experiences. We even had a couple days with everyone in attendance! Those are the best days 😀! It was good to be back in our rhythm last week. In reading we are learning about author, illustrator, character(s), setting, beginning, middle and end. As you read with your child see if he/she can tell you these things about the book you share.  December Homework calendars are welcome back this week for a trip to the Treasure Chest.
